Dick Clark has moved on to that big bandstand in the sky, and New Year's Eve will never be the same again. Nicknamed "America's oldest teenager," the perpetually youthful-looking Clark has died of a heart attack at 82. While he's best known to recent generations for New Year's Rockin' Eve (which he hosted for nearly 40 years), Clark's biggest accomplishment was introducing America to rock and roll through American Bandstand, which he helmed from 1956 through 1989. The outpouring online, especially on Twitter, shows just what a beloved personality Clark really was.
