(AP) ? Montreal Canadiens great Jean Beliveau had a stroke for the second time in two years and is being treated at a hospital.

The 80-year-old Hall of Famer was stricken Monday night and is "undergoing active investigation and treatments" in Montreal, the Canadiens said Tuesday. Team spokesman Donald Beauchamp said the family requested privacy.

"Mr. Beliveau is a great Canadian and a remarkable ambassador for our national sport," Prime Minister Stephen Harper said in a statement. "We wish him a speedy recovery."

The silver-haired Beliveau was also treated for cardiac problems in 1996, and in 2000 was diagnosed with a neck tumor. Beliveau had surgery last year to treat abdominal aneurysms.

Beliveau, long revered by fans, played 20 seasons in the NHL, all with the Canadiens. The center won 10 Stanley Cups and scored 507 goals.

He had short stints with the Canadiens for two consecutive years before joining the team for good for the 1953-54 season. He retired in 1971, capping his career with an unexpected Stanley Cup.

Effective Remedies to Cure Sciatica | New Health and Fitness

New Health And Fitness.Org - Health Information You Can Use

Sciatica occurs when something happens to the sciatic nerve. This nerve is found in the back of your leg. It controls muscles in the back of your knee. It gives you sensation in your lower leg, thigh, and sole of your foot. Sciatica refers to bad pain, weakness, or tingling in your leg. Sciatica is caused by injury. Sciatica is not a medical condition by itself, but a symptom of another medical issue.

Physical Therapy proves beneficial to some sufferers. A medical professional should prescribe therapy. A professional physical therapist will avoid exercises that irritate the nerve and bring on attacks. Therapy that strengthens the muscles holding the spine in position promote good posture. Yoga, undertaken carefully, is beneficial for sciatica sufferers. Some yoga positions, such as forward folds or twisting, may exacerbate sciatica. The benefits of yoga include mental and physical balance, and many people find Yoga exercise offers permanent healing for sciatica.

Treatment for sciatica is directed towards maximizing mobility and your independence. The nerve problem should be classified and treated the right way. Some people with this need no treatment, and heal spontaneously. If there was no evidence of nerve degeneration, no history of trauma, sudden onset of the pain, no difficulty moving, then conservative treatments are the most effective.

Many people have found relief from their sciatica pain by consuming large amounts of potassium. Potassium can be found in many foods including bananas, potatoes, and oranges. It has been found that sciatica patients who consume postassium-rich foods experience less pain than those who do not eat foods rich in potassium.

First, you may think about trying acupuncture, where very slim needles will be applied to your skin. Believe it or not, many don?t even feel these, and do find significant relief here, from lower back sciatica. Of course, you will want to be working with an experienced and licensed practitioner. The idea behind this practice is that your energy is unblocked and your health is thereby improved.

Many times natural home remedies just arent enough to alleviate the pain associated with sciatica. However, many prescription drugs are known to cause unpleasant side effects for the patient. For this reason, many sciatica sufferers turn to Sciatol. Sciatol is a natural dietary supplement that has been specially formulated to support the health of the sciatic nerve, spine, and nervous system. If your sciatica pain cannot be relieved through home remedies, but you do not want the unpleasant side effects of prescription drugs, Sciatol could be the answer to all of your sciatica troubles.

Saturday 25th February, 2012 (IANS)

Acrobats from China will for the first time perform at the Academy Awards ceremony to be held in Los Angeles Sunday.

Nine artists from east Shandong province will perform gruelling feats of physical prowess at the Kodak Theater, the acrobatic team's coach Zhou Yonghui told Xinhua.

The performers have earlier won honours at the 34th International Circus Festival in Monte Carlo in 2010.

Acrobats from Russia, France, Brazil and Ukraine are also scheduled to perform at the ceremony.

Yao Jianguo, head of the Shandong provincial acrobatic troupe, said Chinese acrobatics has been around for more than 2,000 years and puts an emphasis on agility and speed.

"It may impress Western audiences, as such art is rarely seen in their countries," he said.

Hematological Cancer Therapies: Pipelines, Markets, and Business ...

Despite the smaller number of patients who develop hematological cancers (compared to solid tumors and certain other, non-oncology markets), it is possible to develop and commercialize hematological cancer therapies that become blockbuster drugs (i.e., with sales exceeding $1 billion per year). This research reviews the current market for hematological cancer drugs, including sales data for selected drugs. Also addressed are major challenges and hurdles, in addition to other strategic considerations, such as personalized medicine, that companies in this market must address. Full transcripts of seven interviews with experts in the field of hematological cancers are included in this report.

Hematological cancers arise from and are found in the blood, bone marrow, and lymphatic systems. The first hematological cancer to be identified was Hodgkin?s disease, or Hodgkin lymphoma, in 1832. Since that time, many different hematological cancers have been identified, including the various types of leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma, plus the myelodysplastic syndromes and myeloproliferative diseases. Altogether, hematological cancers represent a significant medical problem: The American Cancer Society estimated that there would be 140,310 new cases of leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma, combined, in the United States in 2011, and that 53,010 people would die of these diseases this year.

In recent years, newer and more specific therapies for hematological cancers have been developed, such as targeted small-molecule drugs and biological therapies including monoclonal antibodies. However, there remains significant need from a clinical perspective, as well as challenges and opportunities for pharmaceutical companies. This report discusses:

  • The different types of hematological cancers, including information about the specific disease, its epidemiology, subtypes and/or staging if appropriate, current therapies, and patient prognosis.
  • Pipelines of emerging drugs for treatment of hematological cancers including leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes, and myeloproliferative diseases.
  • Business and strategic considerations relating to pharmacological therapy for hematological cancers, including assessment of the current market as well as potential markets for emerging new therapies.
  • Major challenges and hurdles for companies developing hematological cancer therapies.
  • Interviews with experts in the field of hematological cancers, which were conducted exclusively for this report.

A primary focus of this Report is on pipelines of emerging therapies in development for treatment of hematological cancers. Specifically, the clinical development pipelines for leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes, and myeloproliferative diseases are reviewed. Selected emerging therapies that are in Phase II or later stages of development are discussed in the text, while the extensive accompanying tables include these emerging therapies plus many additional earlier-stage therapies that are in development.

Man must apologize to wife on Facebook: court

13 hrs.

A man with a record of domestic violence has been ordered by a Cincinnati court to apologize to his victim -- his estranged wife -- on Facebook for comments he made on the social network.

NBC-affiliate WLWT in Cincinnati reported on the unusual order, made to Mark Byron in lieu of serving 60 days in jail and paying a $500 fine for violating a temporary protection order granted to his soon-to-be ex-wife, Elizabeth Byron, for being found guilty in June of civil domestic violence against her.

On his Facebook page, Mark Byron, a photographer, had posted a portrait of himself with the couple's young son, and amongst the comments, he wrote this:?

"If you are an evil, vindictive woman who wants to ruin your husband's life and take your son's father away from him completely -- all you need to do is say that you're scared of your husband or domestic partner and they'll take him away!"

Although he blocked his estranged spouse from his page, she was able to see the photo post and the comments below it, and filed a successful motion that he violated the protection order, which prohibited him from "from causing plaintiff or the child of the parties to suffer physical and/or mental abuse, harassment, annoyance or bodily injury."

As a result,?magistrate Paul Meyers sentenced Mark Byron to the jail time and fine on Jan. 25, but added a clause that allowed the man to avoid going behind bars and paying that fine if he would pay back child support and post an apology on Facebook for 30 days, beginning Feb. 13. During that time, Elizabeth Byron or one of her friends has to be given access to check and make sure it's there.

Here is the?apology, which addresses Elizabeth Byron's concern about being seen in an unfavorable light in regards to allowing visitation to their son.

Play out your life on Facebook, and sometimes the long arm of the law will step in to make sure you're playing by the rules.

How global warming created tiny horses

About 56 million years ago, a massive release of carbon dioxide heated the earth's surface by about 10 degrees over 175,000 years. Many mammals responded to this by shrinking.?

An ancient global warming event shrunk the earliest horses down to the size of scrawny housecats, according to new research that could have implications for what mammals might look like in a future warming world.

During what's known as the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum, or PETM, about 56 million years ago, a massive release of carbon into the atmosphere and oceans boosted average global temperatures by about 10 degrees Fahrenheit (5.5 degrees Celsius) over 175,000 years. Mammals responded to this climate change by shrinking, with about one-third of species getting smaller.

Now, new research reveals that these changes occurred in lockstep with temperature fluctuations during the period. The?earliest-known horse?Sifrhippus started out this period as a bit of a pipsqueak: The animals weighed only about 12 pounds (5.6 kilograms) on average, about the size of?a miniature schnauzer.

But by 130,000 years into the PETM, Sifrihippus had shrunk down to only about 8.5 pounds (3.9 kg), the size of a small housecat. These humble horses then experienced a size rebound, bulking up to about 15 pounds (7 kg) in the last 45,000 years of this warm period, putting them on par with the average bichon frise.

Researchers led by Ross Secord of the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and Jonathan Bloch of the Florida Museum of Natural History at the University of Florida were able to track these changes over time using a trove of fossils from the southern Bighorn Basin in Wyoming. Measurements of?horses' teeth?found in the area suggested a distinct pattern of shrinking and growing body size over the PETM time period. At first, that finding seemed like a mistake, Bloch told Livescience, because the assumption had been that horses in the PETM were all uniformly teeny.

The researchers then analyzed the oxygen isotopes (atoms of the same element with different masses) in the horse teeth, which serve as markers of?local temperatures?at the time the horses died. They found that temperatures perfectly matched up with size measurements. The hotter it got, the smaller the horses. Other factors, including aridity and carbon dioxide concentration, did not match up as well.

The health benefits seen with a trainer are very worth the investment. After all, company is investing in their health, fitness, and overall well being. It is well worth the tariff of admission! So there is certainly money to be manufactured in the personal trainer market. However, it is crucial to keep fit trainers to plan their business before instruction the first client. There should be a clear cut, concentrated business, and marketing and advertising roadmap in place ahead of they take in their first dollar invoice. However, what is more important is a appropriate personal trainer education. You don?t want to start a fitness training business if you are not capable of do so. 'ID thieves have bounced back': Big jump, survey says

Identity thieves have regained the upper hand, suggests a new survey released Wednesday by fraud research firm Javelin Strategy & Research.? The firm's annual survey of 5,000 consumers suggests a rise in the rate of ID theft during 2011, reversing a drop in identity-related that was found in last year's survey.? The main cause of the new increase: A return to old-fashioned credit card fraud.

"There's been a rebound. ? ID thieves have bounced back," said Javelin President James Van Dyke,?explaining that meant about 7.7 million Americans were hit with credit and debit card fraud in 2011, or about 2.2 million more?than in the previous year.

The survey estimates that 11.6 million Americans were hit by ID theft in 2011, compared to 10.2 million in 2010. Put another way, 4.9 percent of the U.S. adult population -- roughly 1 in 20 adults -- was affected by identity-related fraud last year, compared to 4.35 percent of the population in 2010.

Javelin, like the Federal Trade Commission, uses a fairly broad definition for identity theft: ?any time a transaction occurs using a victim?s name or account information without authorization.

Nearly all the increase can be attributed to sharp rise in credit-card fraud, the survey found. Last year, 2.3 percent of all adults found unauthorized charges on their cards, compared to 1.4 percent in 2010.

A recent rise in credit card fraud has also shown up in previously unpublished research by security firm Gartner. Analyst Avivah Litan shared the data with msnbc.com.?

Her survey found that, of all adults who say they've been hit by credit card fraud at some point, 29 percent said the most recent incident had occurred in the 12 months preceding September, when her survey was conducted.? That compares to just 18 percent who said the most recent incident hit 13-24 months earlier.

"Our data says the same thing (as the Javelin data)," Litan said. "It is worth noting that increases in fraud rates are even more pronounced on the small business and corporate side, which Javelin didn't survey."

Javelin's 2011 survey is the seventh time the firm has queried American adults looking for ID fraud trends. The survey, which has a maximum margin of error of 1.7 percent, was sponsored by several financial services companies, but Van Dyke said the sponsors weren?t? allowed to interfere with the research methodology or the publication of the resulting report.

What would cause a rise in old-fashioned card data theft?? Numerous factors, Van Dyke said.

"It's probably partly an issue of where the gains (the banks) had made couldn't be sustained," Van Dyke said. "Also, the economy also plays a part. We've done this long enough to see a correlation between the state of the economy and this kind of fraud."?

The recession has made life a bit harder for banks? back-end fraud prevention systems, too. Some consumers have simply stopped using credit cards, but maintain open accounts. These dormant cards are ripe for fraud.? Meanwhile, the recession has also dramatically altered some consumers? buying patterns, throwing banks? pattern-recognition efforts off.

There is good news within Javelin's results, however.? The rate of new account fraud -- when a criminal uses a victim's personal information and good credit to open up new accounts -- has dropped slightly, according to survey takers. New account fraud is much more of nightmare for victims, and more costly to financial institutions..

"In fact, the overall amount lost to identity fraud is down slightly," Van Dyke said, from an estimated $20 billion to $18 billion.

The survey also hints at some other larger trends in identity security.? Smartphone users are about 30 percent more likely to report being hit by ID fraud. Surprisingly, 62 percent say they do not use a screen password to protect their devices.

"People aren't protecting their devices," Van Dyke said.

Some 36 million Americans, or roughly 15 percent of U.S. adults, say they received a data breach notification in 2011 from a company indicating it had lost their personal information.? Those who say they received such a notice were more than nine times as likely to also report being fraud victims.

"This is a trend we see spanning four years now, yet we haven't been able to generate any meaningful public awareness around it," Van Dyke said. Many consumers don't even sign up for free credit monitoring services when they are offered by companies that have leaked data, he said.?

Even so, more Americans detected ID fraud through electronic monitoring of accounts -- such as through online banking -- than through paper statements, the first time that has happened, according to the survey.? Such monitoring leads to earlier detection and lower financial losses for both banks and consumers.

Finally, the survey suggests some connection between active use of social networks and ID theft. Slightly more than 10 percent of LinkedIn users say they were hit (10.1 percent), while 7 percent of Google+ users and 6.3 percent of Twitter users reported being victims -- all three above average. Facebook users, at 5.7 percent, were barely above the national average of 4.9 percent.

Those with public profiles often confessed to being careless with data: 45 percent share their birth date and year;? 63 percent shared their high school; 18 percent shared their phone number; and 12 percent shared their pet's name.

"We still have a significant education problem," Van Dyke said. "Consumers are having trouble? being able to grasp what is sometimes conflicting advice in the marketplace. In fact, sometimes it?s impossible to follow the patchwork advice they are given."

How Much Sodium Should Be In Your Diet? Natural Health Blog

"The proximity of a desirable thing tempts one to overindulgence," said author Frank Herbert, the guy who wrote Dune. In the case of salt, the proximity seems almost unavoidable, given how much sodium most available food contains, and not surprisingly, we overindulge big time. According to a study of over 7000 individuals just released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), just about every single American -- 90 percent of those over the age of two -- consumes considerably too much sodium.1 And for those at-risk for cardiovascular disease - -a segment that includes 60-percent of the population -- 99 percent exceed the recommended daily guidelines.

The CDC has established a top daily limit of 2,300 milligrams of dietary sodium as the recommended ceiling for normal, healthy adults. That recommended limit drops to 1500 milligrams daily for the 60 percent of the population at risk -- those either over the age of 50 who have diabetes or kidney disease or hypertension, or those who are of African American descent. But the overwhelming majority of us disregard these guidelines, with the average person consuming 3,330 mg daily -- at least 1000 milligrams too many.

What's the problem with the over-the-top salt consumption? Before we answer that question, it's important to note here, as Jon Barron has so often pointed out, that it isn't sodium per se that causes problems, but rather, the fact that we eat so much "refined" salt -- which has a very different effect on the body than does unrefined, natural sea salt or Himalayan salt, which the body actually needs in reasonable amounts. Unfortunately, almost all of the sodium in the foods we eat comes in the form of refined table salt, which is destructive to the body. And then there's potassium. Potassium neutralizes the negative effects of sodium. The more potassium you have in your diet, the more sodium you can have without any negative health consequences. Not surprisingly, natural sources of unrefined salt contain potassium; whereas refined salt does not.?

Nevertheless, as Thomas Frieden, the director of the CDC, says, "Too much sodium raises blood pressure, which is a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke. These diseases kill more than 800,000 Americans each year and contribute an estimated $273 billion in health care costs. Most Americans, if you just eat the food that's in front of you, will end up with high blood pressure?Reducing sodium is one of the most effective, lowest cost, safest ways of [preventing] that."2

Given that nearly one-third of Americans suffer from hypertension, these seem to be important points. The report notes that if the average American cut salt consumption by just a meager 400 mg daily, that could prevent up to 28,000 deaths a year, and save $7 billion in health-care costs.

While it's no surprise that we consume too much sodium (and again, too much of the wrong type of sodium), some might find it a surprise where the bulk of the sodium comes from. Most of it does not come from wanton behavior with the salt-shaker, but rather, it's resident in the foods we eat. Ten foods contributed more than 40 percent of the sodium excess, and no, it isn't chips and salsa and fast-food snacks at the top of list, either. In fact, snack foods came in at the bottom of the "Top-10 list" in position number ten. The number one contributor to sodium intake, it turns out, is bread. In fact, bread and rolls contribute over two times more sodium to our diets than chips and pretzels do.

Although your bread might not taste salty, take a look at the label. The loaf probably has more sodium than you'd think. A typical slice of bread contains about 170 mg.3 If you ate but a slice a day, you'd be fine (depending on the rest of your diet), but you need to multiply that 170 milligrams by two for a sandwich. Then, say you eat a bagel for breakfast. That will add another 500 milligrams, for a whopping total of 800 or so mg of sodium from bread products alone, and that's before dinner. One roll with dinner adds another 170 mg more, meaning that you will have consumed almost 1000 mg of sodium just in bread products.

The next culprits in the salty mix are cold cuts and cured meats; pizza; poultry; soups; fast-food hamburgers, cheese, spaghetti and other pasta dishes; meatloaf and other meat dishes, and finally, chips and pretzels and other salty snacks. If the high ranking of poultry on the list surprises you, take note of the fact that most chicken sold in supermarkets gets shot up with broth to make it look plump and juicy.4 The problem is that broth is a sodium fiesta, driving up the sodium count in what looks to be plain, unsalted chicken. It's amazing, isn't it? Even when you try and do the right thing and eat heart healthy, they get you when you're not looking!

Other notable findings include the fact that 65 percent of our sodium intake comes from foods bought at the store. Another 25 percent comes from restaurant foods, leaving only 10 percent from salt-shakers or other sources. Children up to the age of 19 get only about eight percent of their sodium from food served at school or day care.

What can you do to curtail your sodium glut? For one thing, check labels. You'll be astounded at how little attention most food manufacturers actually pay to keeping sodium levels in check -- and that goes for the supposedly healthy brands, too. For instance, one cup of Amy's Organic Chunky Tomato Bisque contains 680 mg. On the other hand, a mere half cup of Campbell's Condensed Bean with Bacon soup has 860. Wow!

As mentioned above, choosing the right type of salt -- namely unrefined sea salt for your cooking and seasoning -- makes a big difference. So does limiting your meals out, or at least asking for low-salt options at the restaurants you frequent. Make sure you drink plenty of water to keep flushing excess sodium out of your system. And finally, learn to use other seasonings. Once you cut back on salt, you won't crave it as much, and foods you once enjoyed will start to taste way too salty.

(AP) ? The stars of "A Gifted Man" know how they're spending their evening: tweeting about the CBS show as it airs.

Cast members Patrick Wilson, Margo Martindale and Rachelle LeFevre will take to Twitter to answer viewers' questions during the show's new time slot, 9 p.m. EST Friday. They'll be joined by Executive Producer Neal Baer.

Baer says the back-and-forth tweeting doesn't detract from the TV experience, but enhances it. He says it's a "wonderful" way to link viewers with writers and actors, and it reflects conversations people have when watching TV.

"A Gifted Man" stars Wilson as a brilliant, wealthy surgeon whose life changes when he's visited by the spirit of his late ex-wife, who was an idealistic, free-clinic doctor. His ex is played by Jennifer Ehle.

Would anyone be interested......

....In a next generation role play? They are my very favorite type of role-plays to do but I haven't seen any while surfing the current role-plays on the site. I have only a done Harry Potter Next Generation and Alice In Wonderland Next Generation but I loved both greatly and would be willing to do any sort of Next Generation role-play.

The only next generation rp I would refuse to do would be a vampire based book because vampires are immortal and never die, so how would you have a next generation playing one of them? I also am not that great at animals so human based would be nice. So back to my original question, do we have any takers?

First Lady to visit Pentagon (AP)

WASHINGTON ? First lady Michelle Obama is planning a visit to the Pentagon to promote more help for military spouses who often suffer higher unemployment than others because they move so much.

Mrs. Obama will join Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and other officials later Wednesday in talking about a new report that shows military spouses ? overwhelmingly women ? are 10 times more likely to move across state lines than their civilian counterparts.

The military spouses working in jobs like teaching and nursing often are stymied in efforts to continue their professions when their partners are reassigned to a new state because states can have varying requirements for being licensed or certified in a given profession.

How To Keep Warm This Winter | Home and Garden Blog

It can be difficult to decide which is the best way to keep your family warm when the weather gets very cold. Although wood burning stoves and open fires are something that many people like to use, the fact that they need to be cleaned out before each use tends to put people off. However, with a wood burning stove, you can choose to leave it running during the night at a very low temperature and then just turn it up again the next day. Another way of heating is with an Aga, run on a choice of fuels, which will not only warm the room but is always at the correct temperature for all cooking requirements.

?

The most effective way of heating the home, and of particular interest to homeowners who live in properties where there isn?t mains gas available, is by oil-fired central heating which can be especially cost effective. Something you should be aware of is that heating oil can be considerably cheaper as it is often bought in larger quantities. Those who have gas central heating will usually pay for their fuel every month or every quarter but with heating oil, people can just get in touch with a company like boilerjuice and can ensure they get the best prices by having a large order of oil delivered which would fill up their tank.

?

The ability to make any savings at all is welcome by most of us who worry about our energy bills, especially in the winter. Some families purchase their oil during the summer months in readiness for the coming winter. By doing this they are sure that they won?t suddenly find that their supply is low, because they had forgotten to check it, and additionally the price may be lower.

?

It doesn?t really matter whatever reason is given for when and why anyone buys their oil. However, it is very important to make sure that you don?t run out of oil during the winter especially if you live in a remote part of the country where deliveries could be made worse by treacherous road conditions.

?

Heating one?s family home in the cold months of winter may cost a fair packet. Gas and electricity are really expensive today, with no indications of price ranges coming down. Clever individuals are switching to heating up oil as a fuel though. Most cost effective heating oil make sure the nations oil tanks remain full. Heating oil suppliers are located across the country and can supply heating oil nationally through internet websites like Boiler Juice.

Violence and delusional pets ? Mind Hacks

I?ve just read a striking article recounting cases of violence associated with delusions about household pets. Although the academic paper is locked, a copy is available online as a pdf.

The curious study was published in a 1987 edition of Behavioral Sciences and the Law and includes three extended case studies of defendants charged with aggressive crimes who had ?psychotic perceptions and delusions involving their pet animals?.

Several weeks before the alleged killing, Mr. A?s cat appeared to be pregnant, so he made a nesting box for it. He said his wife disliked his cat because of its grey color. One day Mr. A dropped a jar of molasses, thereby spilling the contents. He lamented to himself that he no longer had control over picking up and holding objects. Upon seeing the cat?s strange green eyes, he concluded that voodoo was being perpetrated against him through the cat as a medium, and the cat was therefore responsible for his loss of control. It occurred to him that Cleopatra and the ancient Egyptians were surrounded by cats. He associated cats with the ancient past and evil spirits. He decided to shoot the cat in order to ?break the spell? against him. However, killing his cat failed to dispel his sense of being fragmented and persecuted.

From the time he shot his cat until his wife was mortally shot several days later, Mr. A?s psychosis worsened; his thinking became more disorganized and lacking in reality adherence. Time seemed to have stopped. He perceived a striking deterioration in his wife?s appearance. ?She looked so grey (her criticism of the cat), like a craven image? she looked sick.?

The author notes that the first description of this phenomenon was actually in the Edgar Allen Poe short story The Black Cat where the narrator develops delusions about his cat and eventually kills his wife.

Many thanks to Keith Laws for finding this unusual footnote in the forensic psychiatry literature.

Willie sings Coldplay better than Coldplay?

By Courtney Garcia

Does country legend Willie Nelson?make a better?Coldplay than Coldplay?

?If the reaction to Coldplay?s?Sunday night Grammy performance?is any indication,?that might be true.?It appears an ad for Chipotle immediately following the pop crooners' stint on the show outdid them at their own game.

The commercial features?a charming rendition of Coldplay?s ?The Scientist,? covered by Willie Nelson. It?aired after what many critics called a rather humdrum showing by the quartet, who performed "Paradise" and "Princess of China" during the awards ceremony.

The ad, on the other hand, featuring a farmer deciding to raise his animals in a more sustainable, free-range way, was quirky and fun.

Instantly, Twitter?s harshest critics fell in love, with some calling the commercial the best performance of the night, others observing how it only reaffirmed anti-Coldplay sentiment in their minds.

??My biggest takeaway from the Chipotle commercial is that I really dislike the lead singer of Coldplay,? tweeted @chimpotle, while Allyn White commented, ?Coldplay bested by Chipotle commercial with a Willie Nelson cover of their song.?

Even fellow musicians took note. Alt-rock duo Tegan and Sara remarked, ?In a strange twist, Chipotle commercial that followed w/ Willie singing a Coldplay song captivated me more??

Though the jingle was previously released online last August, its primetime debut after the band?s performance was cleverly timed on the part of some programmer with a sense of humor, particularly given the fact viewers were encouraged to download it on iTunes as a contribution to Chipotle?s sustainable farming practices.??

Of course, not everyone agreed.

??Willie Nelson is completely butchering Coldplay's the scientist in this Chipotle commercial,? tweeted Emily Trauth.

Who would you rather listen to performing Coldplay songs?

?

?What did you think of Willie Nelson covering Coldplay? Tell us on Facebook.

The reason for having a home business is to make money, and to be successful you need the correct mindset. It is great to be excited about starting your business, but don?t lose interest too quickly when things don?t work out immediately. Some of the things that will be covered in this article is how you might learn from successful entrepreneurs, and the methods they used to build their businesses. Many articles, books and programs on the topic of self-improvement talk about the importance of having a positive attitude. Avoiding negativity quite often means staying away from people who have bad attitudes, even family members. Discouragement can come from many places, but usually it is from those who are close to you. It can also be TV programs, movies or even the news. When to create a home business is a regular question when seeking to move from another career or day job. Those with both a full time job and an entrepreneurial company may be pondering a switch to pure home based employment. Making a living from your business will require time. General expenditures will continue as you build your home business, adding tension if you left your job early. Feelings of unease and cynicism can be reflections of your unguided efforts to pay monthly bills. Ensure the money from your home business is unvarying prior to leaving your other job.

Independence and self direction are two of the primary benefits of a home business. This can lead to a sense of loneliness, now and then. Making links with other involved in the same pursuit is therefore tantamount. You can accomplish this online through the use of discussion groups and forums. You can make both business and social connections on many of these sites. You can also look for meetings of small businesses and entrepreneurs in your area. Creating a link to others and staying connected may require extra effort on your part. Finding others with parallel experiences will lead to further assistance with your needs. You should not even start a business unless you have a long-term mentality for reaching your goals. The goal of a successful business is to provide value, and the money will take care of itself. The purpose of building a business should be to add value to society and increase your reputation. One thing that you will never do, when your reputation is important, is to take shortcuts. The success of a business is built on repeat customers, and that only happens when you keep your customers happy. Starting an Internet business is a way to make money working at home, but most of them fail. A couple of reasons for this is being unprepared, and having the wrong mentality.

You need to put some thought and commitment into building a home business mindset, but it?s not hard to do. When you are working for yourself, it becomes part of you and you start seeing things differently. You will start seeing opportunities everywhere and will always be on the lookout for ways you can profit.

Should you would like supplementary information on denver criminal defense attorney there?s loads of details not covered in this post, vist Author?s web blog to uncover more.
